EudoraTables - Plug-In file for people who need to use non-ASCII characters in non-MIME mail.
2MinRecv - Plug-In file for people with slow servers. If you find Eudora's 45 second timeout to be too fast for your server, use this file.
LOG_TRANS+NAV - Plug-In file that helps in debugging connections. This file will make Eudora record everything it sends to and receives from your mail servers. The Eudora hotline may ask you to use it if you have trouble with your server.
EudoraSuite.rtf.sea - Document describing the Apple Event objects and events Eudora supports.
WHAT's A PLUG-IN?
Plug-in files are used to modify Eudora without having to change the application itself. To use a plug-in file, drag it into your Preferences folder (the folder in your System Folder with the two radio buttons on its icon) or your Eudora Folder, and then launch Eudora.
TRANSLITERATION IN EUDORA
Eudora has a primitive transliteration facility. It can replace any one 8 bit character with any other 8-bit character, when sending mail, receiving mail, or displaying a message. This is primarily of interest to people who communicate in languages other than English, and whose recipients don't use MIME.
Here's the bottom line. Put the EudoraTables plug-in in your Preferences folder. Start Eudora. Open a message from your In box. Hold down the shift key, and press on the blank popup in the icon bar. Choose the appropriate country code from the menu. Now, choose New... from the Message menu. Again, hold down the shift key and choose the appropriate country code from the menu. All done.
